Several Russian rockets hit a military barracks in Mykolaiv (Ukraine) on Friday March 18. The provisional toll evokes several dozen deaths.
A few helmets and a gigantic pile of stones and concrete. That’s all that’s left of Mykolaiv military barracks (Ukraine)completely destroyed by Russian rockets, Friday, March 18. A survivor, buried for 30 hours under the rubble, was found alive. But of the 200 soldiers who were sleeping in the barracks at the time of the attack, around fifty dead bodies have already been found.
The city of Mykolaiv is strategic for Russians because it represents the last shield before Odessa (Ukraine)a large port city 130 km away. Dozens of residents fled the city in buses and crossed the border into Moldova. Families and children are traumatized by these strikes. No official report was communicated on the evening of Saturday March 19.
