DavidsTea soon available in several Couche-Tard convenience stores

DavidsTea announced the signing of an agreement to sell some of its products in 1,500 Couche-Tard and Circle K convenience stores across Canada.

The Montreal-based tea company said it has signed an exclusive supplier agreement with Alimentation Couche-Tard, which is headquartered in Laval.

Circle K and Couche-Tard stores covered by the deal will sell tea bags in eight DavidsTea flavors, including Earl Gray Cream, Jasmine Silk Dragon, David’s Breakfast Blend and Cold 911.

Seven locations will also feature a full tea bar concept that will offer a wider variety of hot and iced teas.

Most Circle K and Couche-Tard convenience stores included in the new partnership began carrying DavidsTea products on Monday, but they won’t go on sale until mid-April for those located in Ontario.

This announcement comes as Alimentation Couche-Tard focuses more on beverages. Last month, a café from the Second Cup banner was set up in a Couche-Tard in Laval as part of a pilot project.
