He’s still the actor David Proux who embodies this role with which he was able to reconnect on the screen with Cathy. Indeed, he gives back the reply to his first love, both in fiction and in his private life, played by the pretty Cathy Andrieu which has found a recurring place in fiction in recent years.
At the time of‘Hélène and the boys in the 90s, the two actors had fallen for each other backstage. A love at first sight which David Proux still remembers. “Before I even auditioned, I knew two things: that I would be taken on the show and that Cathy would be the mother of my children. To preserve their budding love, David Proux and Cathy Andrieu subsequently decided to quitting the sitcom after just six months. Far from the phenomenon that has become Helen is the boys and for which they were not necessarily prepared, they founded their family as the interpreter of Etienne had predicted with a girl named Alice and a boy named Mathis (22 years old).
Unfortunately, their path ended up parting. But David Proux assures him, there are always good feelings between them: “We get along well, we know each other as exes who have lived through ups and downs and a family life“. Since their breakup, everyone has found the right shoes and even had another child. The actor had a daughter named Héloïse and his ex Cathy Andrieu gave birth to a second boy, Jules. On social networks, they sometimes share photos of their beautiful and large blended family where everyone gets along well.
