People who grew up in the 80s must have watched at least one episode ofBaywatch. A series that notably starred David Hasselhoff. The latter played Mitch Buchannon, a character very popular with the public and who offered great hours to his interpreter. But he also had dark times because of alcohol.
For several years, David Hasselhoff has been talked about, not for his professional projects but for his addiction. The 70-year-old actor – who we could find in the Cobra costume in Mask Singer – had serious problems with alcohol to the point of being hospitalized several times. A situation that has greatly affected his family, including one of his daughters: Taylor-Ann (born of his former love with Pamela Bach). The young woman of 32 years has also done everything to make her dad react and it worked.
In 2007, she filmed David Hasselhoff completely drunk and naked. A video she shared publicly. Thus, Internet users were able to discover him on the ground, trying to swallow his hamburger. “Promise me you’ll stop. (…) Tell me now or I’ll never talk to you again. (…) It’s not fair what you’re doing to your family. You drank and Tomorrow you’ll regret everything you told me You’re screwing up your life drinking It’s stupid“, had launched Taylor-Ann in particular. An electric shock for his father who, thanks to the images, realized the situation. “JI was working but I had no control over what I was doing. Through the video, I realized this was a problem I had to deal with. (…) I knew why Taylor had done that. She was afraid for me. And I found it beautiful that my daughter loved me enough to say to me: ‘Dad, this is what you look like, we are scared.‘”, he confided shortly after to the magazine People.
Unfortunately, this did not prevent him from having relapses and again having hospital stays. In May 2009, for example, he was found unconscious by his second daughter Hayley Amber, in his villa in Encino, near Los Angeles. She then alerted her mother Pamela Bach who would have rushed her to Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ten years later, he told the Mirror that he was on a dry diet and visited Alcoholics Anonymous regularly. No doubt he can count on his (young) wife Hayley Roberts to support him.
