Scandal in the world of judo. The famous French judoka, Clarisse Agbégnénou, is at odds with her federation. To prove it, the 30-year-old sportswoman refused, on February 17, 2023, to wear her judogi. A decision that David Douillet recently pointed to RMC Sports. “You can’t have taken advantage of the system throughout your progress and say once you’re in the firmament: ‘I have a lot more money, I represent a lot more, let the others manage'”, notably dropped the quadruple world champion at the microphone of our colleagues. Words that obviously did not please the main concerned.
Angry, the latter therefore took hold of her social networks in order to denounce the words of the former athlete. “David Douillet takes the liberty of saying a lot of insulting things about me, but this is not his first cavalier outing with regard to women…”, she published on her Twitter account this Monday, February 20, 2023. A statement which suggests that David Douillet would not be at his first attempt in terms of sexism. “However, he just forgot to give an important piece of information”, added Clarisse Agbégnénou while posting an extract from an article which highlights the link between the Double D company of its rival and the official equipment supplier of Adidas. A post that sparked strong reactions.
