They were fourteen at the start and after several weeks of play, David Douillet and Clémence Castel are the two big winners of the show Traitors, launched this year on M6. A program which was a real hit and which made it possible to highlight the qualities of strategists from the former glory of judo, who came to participate alongside his wife, Vanessa. If the latter was quickly eliminated, her husband, whom she married in August 2017, went to the end of the adventure. After this beautiful moment together, they were able to return home and find their three daughters.
Vanessa Douillet is the mother of two children from a previous relationship and together they had a little girl named Blanche, aged 5. Today, as for millions of families, it’s back to school and for the occasion, David Douillet and his wife confided in Gala on this rather special time of the year, but which does not make them not afraid. “We love the start of the school year because we prepare everything at the start of the holidays”assures Vanessa, who must deal this year with a return to third, another in sixth and CP for Blanche.
Three girls with very different characters!
A return to school necessarily different from the others for their children with such famous parentsbut obviously everything is going well for their daughters. “We know it exists. Sometimes, they tell us about it but that’s not a problem“, assures David Douillet. The two parents then discuss the profile of their children and diversity is a must in the family. “They are all different. We have a big one which is very artist. She wants to be an actress (…) We have a second who is rather athletic. She is very strict at school. (…) And the youngest is a mixture of both“synthesizes Vanessa.

Back to school is also the passage of time. A feeling that is not necessarily pleasant for Vanessa Douillet, as she explains: “I’m afraid of the empty nest. David laughs because I’m a real mother hen. I say to myself: ‘Oh my, what am I going to do when they’re all gone?’“. For his part, the former judoka who has been very successful professionally since the end of his sports career is much more serene. “As I already have children who are in their thirties, I’ve been there before. In addition, they already have children. So I’m already in the grandpa box. So I have already understood and digested it. Every era is great”he concludes.
