“This way of beating up Depardieu disgusts me“

I respect it because it’s my whole childhood, my whole cinema. And I love this guy, for me he is gargantuan, he is Shakespearean. I think he’s a pig, who behaved very badly, but I don’t think he’s a rapist. And I’m very clear about that.”. And to add: “I don’t care if it’s annoying. We don’t know, I’m not in the justice system, there is a presumption of innocence. At the same time, it’s not my business to talk about that. The guy is rude, we know that. I loved this show he did on France 5, ‘A pleins dents’. It was great. He’s a guy, I met him 2-3 times, I could speak with him“.

While in the process, two other filmmakers, namely Benoît Jacquot and Jacques Doillon, are also accused of bad behavior, by the actress Judith Godrèche, David Brécourt tackled: “It’s horrible, and then when it’s not him, it’s someone else, another case, we crush the person until he’s crushed to the ground, but it’s terrible.
