Dave drops huge news about his marriage to Cerise, his very young partner

He is preparing to celebrate his 80th birthday on May 4: singer Dave continues to fill the rooms. And for this occasion, the Dutchman decided to celebrate obviously… on stage. The interpreter of “Vanina” Or “Swan’s side” will therefore be in concert on May 21 at the Grand Rex, before going to Brussels at the end of May then to Amsterdam. But why not choose to do a concert on the exact date of his birthday? The answer is quite simple.

Guest of the show Good morning ! on TF1 this April 17, exceptionally presented by Maud Descamp in place of Bruce Toussaint, Dave was in fact questioned by the presenter: “Why are you celebrating your birthday on stage? You’re going to have a party with your friends, right?” To which Dave initially responds evasively. “I don’t know if I’ll have time…”, indicates the singer. But in reality, the reason for his lack of time is obvious: “My birthday, It’s Renaud’s wedding day!Dave then admits.

Already two marriages

Until now, Renaud had in fact remained evasive on the exact date of his marriage to his partner Cerise, – a nickname for the one who is actually called Christine -, 29 years younger. A few weeks ago, the singer, who is increasingly worrying his fans due to health problems, simply indicated to the New Republic that the wedding would take place during the month of May, without giving further details.

The interpreter of “Winner Mistral” had simply proclaimed his love for the seamstress: “I’m in love with Cerise, I’m going to marry her in May 2024!” We therefore had to wait for the blunder of his friend Dave, who however did not go further than the announcement of the date in terms of the details of the ceremony.

A ceremony which will be the third of its kind for Renaud. The singer had already been married to Dominique Quilichini, from 1980 to 1999, with whom he had his first daughter Lolita. From 2005 to 2011, Renaud was the husband of Romane Serda, a singer and actress, mother of her second child, Malone. Never two without three they say, hoping that this marriage is the right one for the singer.
