Dave Chappelle has booked Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena to screen his latest documentary next month as he continues to spark controversy with his latest show The Closer deemed transphobic and released on Netflix.
The American comedian, who this week released a statement saying he is the victim of a “culture of cancellation” because of his sketches, will present his film Untitled on November 15 in this arena that can accommodate 19,800 people.
This Canadian premiere is part of a large-scale tour for the documentary that also includes a live performance by Dave Chappelle & Friends.
