One year before the opening of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, which will take place in France from September 8 to October 28, fans of the oval ball will see the event come to fruition. After two first sessions in 2021, including the sale of packs by city or by team, the time has come for single tickets for all matches in the competition, on Tuesday 13 September. Here’s what you need to know to get tickets.

When is the ticketing site accessible?

La single ticket office is open Tuesday, September 13 at 6 p.m. to members of the 2023 Family. This is a “24-hour pre-sale reserved for members of the 2023 Family (…), registration open until the same day, on the official website. For the general public, meet on Thursday September 15 at 6 p.m.”writes the official website of the World Cup.

What is the purchase procedure?

During this sale, it will be possible to acquire tickets for all 48 matches of the competition, from the opening France-New Zealand match to the final on October 28, 2023 at the Stade de France. And “each buyer can acquire a maximum of six tickets, including a maximum of four for the same final phase match”, further states the official press release.

It will only be possible to buy tickets on one online sales site: tickets.rugbyworldcup.com. Only tickets purchased via this official platform will allow access to the stadium, the organizers remind. The principle of “first come, first served” will be the rule.

What are the ticket prices?

For the 2023 edition of the World Cup, more than “200,000 tickets will be available for sale”, announce the organizers. The first prizes will start at €10 for group matches and from €40 for the final stages. The most expensive place, during the group stage, will reach 550 euros (category 1 for the opening match between France and New Zealand), and for the final, it will rise to 950 euros (category 1) . Four categories will be available for purchase. Pricing details are available on the official website.
