Dashing Cowboys singer Karl Tremblay has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
In a video posted on social networks, the singer announced that he had been diagnosed in January 2020 and that he has since been followed by a team of doctors, specialists and nurses, in addition to benefiting from the support of his family and his friends.
He explained that he now wanted to break the news to the public, since he plans to continue performing, but the chemotherapy treatments he has undergone will soon cause him to lose his hair and beard.
“Obviously it’s still hair and beard…it’s not the end of the world, it’s part of the treatment,” he said, adding that he’s now part of “this family of people.” who have to fight against this disease every day.
The Dashing Cowboys’ concert schedule may undergo changes over the next few months, depending on Karl Tremblay’s fitness and treatment schedule.
