Colombia’s most wanted drug trafficker, Dario Antonio Usuga, known as “Otoniel”, was arrested on Saturday 23 October. He was transferred under high escort to the police station in Bogota.
After seven years of stalking in the Colombian jungle, Dario Antonio Usuga, known as “Otoniel”, took his first prisoner steps on Saturday 23 October. Dario Antonio Usuga’s gang, which supplied North America with cocaine, was also wanted by the US anti-drug agency, which was offering $ 5 million to anyone helping his arrest. The large-scale operation mobilized 500 police officers and 22 helicopters. “There is not a single place in Colombia where henceforth a criminal, a terrorist who has perpetrated the worst acts, notably by killing police officers, will not be quiet.“, warned Diego Molano, Colombian Minister of Defense.
