Uncovering the Easter Eggs in the Daredevil Born Again Trailer

The trailer is a treasure trove of MCU references, prominently displayed in the image below. This scene mirrors a double-page spread from Daredevil comic no. 595, enriched with additional elements highlighted in red. One standout feature is the poster for the Rogers musical, which celebrates Steve Rogers, the original Captain America. Fans may recall seeing this poster for the first time in the series Hawkeye, and it has since appeared in several films, including Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Just above, a black advertisement promotes a club named Harlem’s Paradise, owned by none other than Luke Cage, who had his own series as well. Another intriguing ad to the right of the Rogers The Musical poster highlights the unique Pingo Doce, a green soda infused with guarana, featured in The Incredible Hulk (2008) and later in Ant-Man (2015) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).

In the upper right corner of the image, there’s a noteworthy detail. The blue panel displaying “Happy New Year” is brought to us by the Pym van Dyne Foundation. For context, refer to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), where we discover that Hope van Dyne, portrayed by Evangeline Lily, has taken the reins of Pym Technologies to establish the Pym van Dyne Foundation. Through this foundation, she utilizes Pym Particles, originally created by her father, for humanitarian efforts.

Lastly, a frame located further down showcases various Daredevil masks. The central mask is yellow, reminiscent of the outfit worn by Matt Murdock in She-Hulk, designed by fashion designer Luke Jacobson. This design is inspired by Daredevil’s original costume, created by Bill Everett, one of the character’s co-creators. In 1965, Daredevil transitioned to a full red ensemble, introduced in the 7th issue of the comic series.

While we await Murdock’s next appearance in a Marvel film, fans can enjoy Daredevil Born Again starting March 4, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. Actor Charlie Cox will reprise his role alongside Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher) in leading roles.
