Zadi will present the César ceremony on Friday February 23 live from the Olympia, indicates a press release from Canal+, co-producer and broadcaster of the event.

Masters of ceremonies, these thirteen artists “will thus share their love of cinemaéma and will celebrate, during this great event, all the talents who will have marked this year”, the document continues. The production of the awards ceremony renews the formula of the collegial presentation that it adopted last year “with the wish to highlight the diversity and richness of cinema in France”.

The Animal Kingdom And Anatomy of a fall are favorites, with twelve and eleven nominations respectively. Filmmakers Agnès Jaoui and Christopher Nolan will receive honorary Césars. The 49th César ceremony, which will be chaired by actress and director Valérie Lemercier, will be broadcast Friday February 23 at 8:45 p.m. on Canal+ in clear format.
