Danny Masterson tried for rape by three of his exes, the actor of Thats 70’s show pleads not guilty

Danny Masterson, who played the role of Steven Hyde in the series That 70’s showhas been accused since 2017, in the midst of the Metoo movement, of rape by several women for facts which, according to The Parisian would have taken place between 2001 and 2003. His ex-girlfriend Chrissie Carnell Bixler, who is one of the complainants, accuses him in particular of having raped her in her sleep while they had a long-standing relationship. He allegedly punched her in the face and then spat on her, before calling her “white trash can“.

The second alleged victim, whose name is Jen B, says that she woke up in a situation of rape after drinking an alcoholic drink. She was 28 years old at the time. Finally, Niesha Trout, who is the third plaintiff, accuses him of having raped her at his home at the end of 2003, when she was 23 years old. “Everyone has been informed within the church that certain people who have celebrity status… must be protected in some way. They have much more power in terms of ethical responses from the highest in the church“, she said in particular.

“Paranoid illusions”?

But what church is she talking about? As a reminder, these three complainants are ex-members of the Church of Scientology, of which the actor is also a part. This organization, which also has the famous actor Tom Cruise among its members, would therefore protect Danny Masterson in this case according to these three women. “In what can only be described as paranoid delusions, Mr. Masterson’s ex-girlfriends and one of the jealous husbands banded together to make up these absurd and bigoted allegations largely aimed at the Church of Scientology“, then replied Andrew Brettler, Danny Masterson’s lawyer, on February 3, 2020, when his client had just dismissed the complaint from his ex-girlfriends. Since then, the actor has continued to deny these allegations and to plead no guilty but must now defend himself in court.
