We may not appreciate Neymar, but describing his performances without hatred is possible. This is apparently what Pierre Ménès asked Daniel Riolo on Monday January 16 in his YouTube show Pierrot LeFoot. The reason for this request? The rant of Géraldine Maillet’s companion after the poor performance of the PSG striker against Rennes in the league.
“He made fun of all the PSG supporters by having a good half-season because he had a World Cup to prepare for. He doesn’t care about PSG. It’s over, he’s starting again playing video games all nightnotably dropped the journalist on RMC, who was also teasing Marion Bartolli after her interview with Noël Le Graët, before continuing: “In terms of recruitment, transfer, salary, this is the biggest flop in the history of football. I can’t think of a bigger one. The transfer he cost and the salary that PSG gives him, when you look at his performance on the pitch, it’s horrible.”

An analysis that Pierre Mènes partly joins as he made it known in his video. In reality, for the ex-journalist of Channel Football Clubthe problem would come from Rennes, quite simply: “Neymar has a problem with Rennes, because every time he plays there, he sucks. Last year, he was worse than this year. There, the real criticism I can make of a tactical point of view to Neymar is to have played much too low”.
After giving his opinion on the Brazilian’s match, Pierre Ménès then tackled Daniel Riolo directly. “If you listen to Riolo, (Neymar) is the worst player in humanity after Verratti. What do you want me to tell you…”, he asked before concluding: “We can’t operate on hatred all the time.” A statement that should not please the principal concerned. It remains to be seen whether he will answer her or not.
