Daniel Langlois and Dominique Marchand | Jonathan Lehrer and an accomplice charged with murder

Businessman Jonathan Lehrer and an alleged accomplice should be charged on Wednesday with the murder of Daniel Langlois and his wife Dominique Marchand in Dominica last week, according to local media.

American businessman Jonathan Lehrer and his alleged accomplice Robert Snider are due to appear today, according to the Dominica News Online news site.

The Press revealed Monday that Mr. Lehrer, neighbor and rival of Daniel Langlois, was behind bars. Mr. Lehrer’s spouse and an individual described as a hitman were also.

According to the theory of the Dominican police, the Quebec couple would have been shot dead in the wake of a neighborhood conflict.

An access road to the Quebecois resort, opening in 2022, passes through land belonging to Mr. Lehrer, 57 years old. The latter was unhappy to see vacationers and employees passing through his property.

To the point where, during the construction of the complex, Mr. Lehrer allegedly blocked the road, triggering the anger of local residents.
