At 74, Daniel Guichard continues to perform on stage. He who was at the Grand Rex in Paris this Sunday January 8, 2023, will be in concert in Tours on Friday January 27 then in Niort on Saturday January 28. And to join the different stages of his tour, “if we had to redo it“, the interpreter of “My pal” has his little secret: he takes his motorhome!
His wife follows him on tour
A brilliant idea that allows him to circumvent transport strikes – and they are frequent in France! – always accompanied by his wife Christine, as explained by our colleagues from “The New Republic“. With her, it’s been mad love for more than 30 years. They met on a plane between Karachi and Beijing, were married 3 times (in 1991, 2002 and 2019), had three children (Gabriel , in 1989, Joël, in 1993, and Raphaël, in 1997), and have not left each other since!

This is why this 3rd and last wife of the singing star accepted life in a motorhome. The couple has of course a residence in the South in Sauvian near Béziers, but for all their trips, it is in this large vehicle (also popular with Brad Pitt for his filming) that they travel.
A motorhome enthusiast for years
And Daniel Guichard is not at his first attempt in the field. In 2018, when he bought his third brand new motorhome, he told the site “The World of Motorhomes“: “This motorhome is a working tool! I go everywhere in France with it. Even in Paris, where I have my habits. In particular at the Bois de Boulogne campsite, in the 16th arrondissement. Thus, I am close to the television and radio studios”. And to add:In case of larger trip, I just rent a car. Today for 25 €, you have an electric car!“
