Daniel Beretta, the French voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger, has died at the age of 77

Daniel Beretta, known for having been the French voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger in around thirty films starting in 1988, including Terminator 2died Saturday March 23 in Ajaccio, in Southern Corsica at the age of 77, reports France Bleu RCFM.

Daniel Beretta had been an author, composer and performer, but it was through dubbing that he became famous. He lends his voice to Arnold Schwarzenegger in all his films from 1988, but also to other actors such as Alan Rickman.

His voice has been heard in many films, such as Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, Reservoir Dogs Or Universal Soldier. More recently, he had dubbed characters in Toy Story 2 And The beauty and the Beast from Disney.

Daniel Beretta died during the night from Friday to Saturday in Ajaccio where he had lived for many years.
