Enhanced audio is provided through powerful speakers, while connectivity options include HDMI, USB, and wireless capabilities with Google TV for streaming. Additionally, the Freedo projector emphasizes portability with a built-in battery and impressive audiovisual quality, launching in March 2025.
Introducing the Dangbei MP1 Max: A New Era in Projector Technology
Unveiled at CES 2025, the Dangbei MP1 Max is revolutionizing the projector landscape with its innovative hybrid light source, which merges LED and tri-laser technology. This groundbreaking design effectively minimizes common issues faced by traditional RGB laser projectors, such as speckles and color fringes. Leveraging next-generation Qualas laser technology, the MP1 Max boasts extensive color space coverage. With factory calibration adhering to the D65 standard, it ensures exceptional color accuracy, achieving a Delta E of less than 1.
Additionally, the MP1 Max delivers an impressive brightness of 3100 ISO lumens, enabling daytime viewing without the need for complete darkness. Its hybrid light source is equipped with a filtering system that mitigates harmful blue light exposure, significantly reducing visual fatigue during prolonged viewing sessions.
Enhanced Audio and Ergonomic Design
Building on the strong audio performance of the Dangbei Mars Pro 2, the MP1 Max does not fall short in sound quality. It features two 12-watt speakers and a 750 ml sound chamber, capable of reproducing bass down to 45 Hz, thus providing an immersive auditory experience.
Unlike the Mars Pro 2, which lacks a swing system, the MP1 Max introduces an integrated support design that allows for a remarkable vertical tilt of 135 degrees and a full horizontal rotation of 360 degrees. This versatile feature enables projection on various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors. The advanced InstanPro AI 2.0 system automates image setup, ensuring real-time focus and geometric correction for optimal viewing.
Comprehensive Connectivity with Google TV
The MP1 Max is equipped with extensive connectivity options, featuring two HDMI ports (one with eARC compatibility), a USB 3.0 port, and a dedicated audio output. With wireless capabilities that include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, it seamlessly connects to gaming consoles and audio systems. While the showcased model runs on the proprietary Dangbei interface for the Chinese market, the international version will come with Google TV, ensuring easy access to popular streaming services and multimedia applications.
The Dangbei MP1 Max is set to launch in the first half of 2025, with pricing details yet to be revealed.
Discover the Dangbei Freedo: Portability Meets Performance
Alongside the MP1 Max, Dangbei is excited to introduce the Freedo, a compact projector aimed at users on the go. Initially presented at IFA 2024, the Freedo combines portability with impressive audiovisual performance and will be available on March 4 across major European sales platforms.
Competing directly with the likes of the Xgimi MoGo 3 Pro, the Freedo is designed for ultra-portability, weighing less than a standard laptop. It features a built-in battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of autonomy, allowing users to enjoy an entire movie without needing an external power source. Additionally, the USB-C port enables charging from external batteries, extending usage time during travel.
The Freedo also comes with a custom-designed carrying case for easy transport and protection. Its adjustable support allows for a remarkable 165° tilt, offering flexibility in image positioning on walls or ceilings.
Affordable Audiovisual Excellence
Despite its compact size, the Freedo delivers a remarkable visual experience with Full HD resolution and 450 ISO lumens of brightness. Its color coverage exceeds 90% of the DCI-P3 spectrum, ensuring vibrant color reproduction. Moreover, the 360-degree sound system enhances the overall audiovisual immersion. Powered by artificial intelligence through the InstanPro AI Image Setup system, it automatically optimizes image quality with real-time focus and trapezoidal correction.
Operating on Google TV, the Freedo will be officially available on Amazon in various European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, with a competitive price point of around 500 euros.
