The kick off of season 12 of Dance with the stars was given on September 9, 2022, on TF1. Viewers were able to discover the first six duets of the famous dance competition. On the occasion of the first prime, Anggun and Adrien Caby, Amandine Petit and Anthony Colette, David Douillet and Katrina Patchett, Thomas da Costa and Elsa Bois, Billy Crawford and Fauve Hautot and Eva and Jordan Mouillerac clashed. At the end of the evening, it was the husband of Vanessa Douillet who was eliminated. If it is the personalities, the dancers, the members of the jury (Bilal Hassani, Marie-Agnès Gillot, François Alu and Chris Marques this year) and the presenter Camille Combal who are put forward, this program would be nothing without all the behind-the-scenes team. And among the men in the shadows is… a former candidate for the star Academy.
It is Pierre Suppa, participant of season 7 of the program presented by Nikos Aliagas. Although he did not win this season (it was Quentin Mosimann who was crowned winner at the end of the adventure), the charming brunette who was 26 years old at the time stood out since he was in competition for nearly three months. This allowed him to participate in the tour of his edition. Subsequently, he notably released the title PS I TM.
Then it was in the shadows that this music enthusiast worked “in the world of entertainment and more particularly in the audiovisual sector“as he explains on his LinkedIn page. For a year, he worked as a casting manager for Endemol (2009). He also did this job, in addition to being a coach, for The Walt Disney Company before return to the audiovisual sector. Pierre Suppa was in charge of casting for M6 and TF1 in 2010, then worked for the production company Freemantle. He then returned to Endemol the following year until 2012. He was in particular casting director and took care of the artistic coordination… of the star Academy NRJ 12. A kind of homecoming.
After other experiences, he joined the TF1 group in 2017 as a musical programmer for Dance with the stars and Good Singers. Since 2020, he has also been the casting director of this last show.
