If we already knew the casting of the stars who will perform in the new season of Dance with the starsit is now the names of the dancers who were revealed via a press release this Friday, September 2, 2022.
Nine historical dancers are back in the program which returns to TF1 on September 9, 2022: Fauve Hautot (who has also been a juror in the past), Candice Pascal, Ines Vandamme, Elsa Bois, Katrina Patchett, Christophe Licata, Anthony Colette, Jordan Mouillerac, Adrien Caby.
There will also be three new kids and among them, the sister of a dancer who is already in competition! Alizée Bois, Elsa’s little sister will also tread the floor of TF1. She was 8 times French dance champion including 6 times in Latin dances, 1 time in standard dance and 1 time in ten dances, just that. After the Licata spouses who competed, it’s the turn of two sisters to compete, a first!
Pierre Mauduyhe is not just anyone either since he is the winner of Who will dance with the stars? program which revealed the auditions to integrate DALS, which aired on MYTF1. Pierre won against 9 competitors, so he has his place in the game. Calisson Goasdoue also joins the competition. She also participated in Who will dance with the stars? The cast on the star side
Clémence Castel (who will dance with a woman), Anggun, Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021), Eva (formerly Eva Queen, sister of Jazz), Carla Lazzari (French representative at Eurovision Junior 2019) and Léa Elui (11.4 million followers on Instagram) are the female stars of this competition. On the men’s side, we will find Billy Crawford, singer of Trackin’ and ex-boyfriend of Lorie Pester, will face other male competitors: David Douillet, Florent Peyre, Theo Fernandez, Thomas da Costa (Here it all starts) and Stéphane Lega (star on TikTok).
New jurors too
The star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot and Bilal Hassani, finalist of the previous season, are the new recruits on the jury. They join Chris Marques and François Alu. This means that the beautiful Denitsa Ikonomova will no longer be there as a juror but unfortunately also as a dancer. Fans can reassure themselves because it is rumored that she will be the new dance teacher of the star Academy.
