The owner of the Mega Fitness Gym 24h, Dan Marino, was found dead at his mother’s home Thursday morning according to our information.
Without naming the victim, the Sureté du Québec confirms that a man in his fifties in cardio-respiratory arrest was found in a residence on rue Dugal around 11 a.m. in Boischatel.
57-year-old Dan Marino had made headlines twice since the start of the pandemic. A first time almost two years ago by opening its training center despite the public health ban. Then a second time last spring due to a major outbreak in his gym. This would have caused more than 500 cases of COVID-19 according to public health.
