The TFC faces Sochaux this Saturday afternoon at the Stadium, one of the posters of this season in Ligue 2. The Violets hope to refuel and break the prices to fill the stands against another competitor on the rise, current 4th in the championship. Damien Comolli, the president of the TFC, is in the studios of France Bleu Occitanie this Wednesday evening, from 6.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., to talk about what is announced as one of the matches of the year at Le Ramier.
The president will take stock of this season and the Ligue 1 objective: 15 league games, eight wins, six draws and one defeat but a unique success over the last five meetings. The Violets are still firmly established in their leader’s chair but Auxerre is only one point away, Ajaccio and Sochaux two. Is he satisfied with his coach Philippe Montanier? Could the winter transfer window in a month hold any surprises?
8,300 spectators on average per match at the Stadium this season
The 10,000 spectator bar at the Stadium has been passed twice this season when Auxerre and Guingamp were received. The average attendance is around 8,300 spectators per match. The best attendance of the season in Ligue 2 is to the credit of the Stade Malherbe de Caen which hosted the Norman neighbor Le Havre on October 16, with more than 16,700 spectators.
