Dallas Cowboys | Cowboys Looking to Get Their Game Back

(East Rutherford) Beaten in their last two games, the Dallas Cowboys want to stop their slide starting Thursday evening at the Meadowlands, against the New York Giants.

The meeting involves two teams with 1-2 records.

The Cowboys have won the last six meetings, including 40-0 and 49-17 victories last year.

Coach Mike McCarthy’s gaze is on the future, however.

“We’re aware of our record,” McCarthy said. “This is going to be our first game in our section.”

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was agitated around Dak Prescott in the loss to Baltimore, appearing to ask to be targeted more often on passing plays.

“I failed myself and obviously the team in terms of delivering the goods in a way that was impactful and reliable,” Lamb said. “I let the pace of the game distract me a little bit.”

Last season, Lamb finished second in the NFL with 1,749 receiving yards.

The Cowboys had six sacks in the season opener at Cleveland, but had just one in their next two games.

The Cowboys’ run defense is the worst in the NFL, allowing an average of 185.7 yards in the process.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has two touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two games.

After two defeats, including one by three points, the Giants had the last word by six points in Cleveland last Sunday.
