Biathlon makes a comeback on Saturday 27 November in Östersund (Sweden) for the launch of the World Cup, at the very place where the biathletes concluded their 2020-2021 season. A start missed by the French, Julia Simon and Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet in particular, who made a lot of mistakes on the shooting range of the individual.
The favorites have also missed the boat since the Norwegians Tiril Eckhoff, winner of the previous edition of the World Cup, and Marte Olsbu Røiseland also suffered the race, as did the local of the stage, Hanna Oeberg. The victory went to Czech Marketa Davidova, one of the only four biathletes to have achieved a clear round.
