This two-hour daily is launched “because of political news”, argues the radio in the bosom of billionaire Vincent Bolloré.

Host Cyril Hanouna will host a two-hour daily show on Europe 1 for the next two weeks “due to current political events”, announced the radio in a press release on Friday June 14. The presenter of “Touche pas à mon poste” (TPMP) on C8, a channel belonging to Vincent Bolloré’s media empire, along with CNews and Europe 1, ended his TV season this week with a series of programs where he received in turn the ministers Rachida Dati and Gérald Darmanin, the president of the Republicans Eric Ciotti, the Reconquête MEP Sarah Knafo and the outgoing National Rally deputy Sébastien Chenu.

For the last Thursday, live like every evening, the controversial host-producer even telephoned the president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, so that Sarah Knafo launched a new call for unity. She could only leave him a message on his answering machine. Cyril Hanouna, 49, also assured in the middle of the week that he would leave France in the event of a victory for the left in the legislative elections of June 30 and July 7: “LFI in power, I’m leaving”he said.

The host is no stranger to slip-ups and his broadcasts have earned C8 a barrage of sanctions from Arcom, the media regulator, for a total of 7.5 million euros. “I just learned an hour ago that Cyril Hanouna is replacing us on Monday on Europe 1 who wants even more information”, reacted Enora Malagré, former columnist for Cyril Hanouna, usually programmed on this slot in the show “Sophie & les amis”.
