Since this Thursday, November 10, 2022, Cyril Hanouna has been in the news after having had a lively clash with the deputy Louis Boyard live on the set “Touche pas à mon poste”. Coming to discuss the issue of migrants, the 22-year-old young man who began his political career as a columnist on this same program, literally slipped and started talking about Vincent Bolloré, shareholder of the Canal + group and therefore of the C8 channel, to exploit Africa. On his way, Louis Boyard accused Cyril Hanouna of being racist before accusing him of wanting to do so by not letting him talk about the “Bolloré file”…
This Monday, November 14, 2022, Cyril Hanouna thus devoted the entire program to “the Boyard affair” and succeeded in demonstrating that Louis Boyard is well known for seeking buzz and that he has never rebelled against the actions of Vincent Bolloré when he was a columnist and therefore paid. The 22-year-old has indeed received more than €6,000 thanks to his appearances on the channel, which has given him some visibility over the past two years.
“He’s a friend of 20 years”
Strongly accused on social networks, of defending his wealthy boss, Cyril Hanouna then took the floor to make an update on the nature of their relationship.
“To come back to Vincent Bolloré, know that it was not even him who brought me to the Canal + group. I came before, it was Rodolphe Belmer, the former boss of Canal, who took over the “Direct 8” and “CStar” channels. Vincent Bolloré arrived later and became a shareholder in the group…” he advanced.
“But know one thing, Vincent Bolloré is not my boss and I’m saying it again tonight, he’s a 20-year-old friend. A friend who has always supported me. Who was the only one to call me when I I had 200€ per month, and sometimes per week… per week or per month, it depended on the months thanks to my mother and she was the only one who heard from me, the only one who was always there for me and who said to me: ‘How are you? What’s going on? How are you? Trust yourself, it’s going to work out… And so a friend of 20 years, I will always defend him.’ he concluded. At the end of the show, Cyril Hanouna firmly announced his intention to file a complaint against Louis Boyard for defamation.
