The concept is that two families compete in a series of three duels with the aim of winning up to 13,000 euros. Entertainment that will take the place of Numbers and letters every day at 4:15 p.m. And the cult program presented by Laurent Romejko will only be broadcast on weekends at 5 p.m. this is a major change for the show which had not moved from time slot for 50 years.
So inevitably, one would think that this puts a lot of pressure on the shoulders of Cyril Féraud. This decision had already not enchanted Patrice Laffont, former emblematic animator of Numbers and letters between 1972 and 1990, who became his artistic producer in 2000, but what about the fans? “The devotees of numbers and letters are mostly followers of slam. So I hope that Duels in families will please them. It’s a general knowledge game in family mode that I imagined one sleepless night! We will see two families defending their regions and confronting each other in words, images and music.
