Cyberattacks are at the top of the risks threatening businesses, according to the report drawn up by France Assureurs unveiled on Wednesday January 31. “In a world that is increasingly digital, it is not surprising that cyberattacks remain at the top of our ranking”reacted Wednesday January 31 on franceinfo Florence Lustman, president of France Assureurs, a federation which brings together all insurance companies in France.

A threat which tops the main risks identified by the profession for the next five years, ahead of climate change and“degraded economic environment”. “We anticipate” that cyberattack threats “are likely to be much more frequent and with ever more serious consequences” on businesses, she said.

According to her, the “the key word is prevention”, specifying that companies must be “very vigilant.” The president of the federation of insurers advises “protect information systems”, to use “robust passwords, making backups and then discussing with professionals to ‘upgrade’ the quality of these systems in order to better resist these cyberattacks.”
