Customers of a bankrupt roofing company could be compensated

Customers who did business with an itinerant roofing dealer who declared bankruptcy in 2018 may be entitled to a refund for their claims.

At least that’s what the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC) reported in a press release made public on Wednesday.

The itinerant company located in Boucherville on the South Shore of Montreal had posted a bond, the sum of which could be used to compensate its customers who would have a claim to assert.

“Consumers who have entered into an itinerant sales contract with Pro-Toit / Pro-Max and who believe they have cause for complaint against this merchant are invited to consult the Office’s website, in the compensation section “, Specified the organization.
