Cinema, games and music for the holidays, a swimming pool in Halloween colors and advice if we miss our friends: that’s the menu for this episode of “Hi the news!” which smells like vacation.
Every Friday, the podcast “Salut l’info!” tells the news to young people (7-11 years old), a production of Franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. The children speak during the show: to comment on current events, ask questions, ask for advice or even tell jokes! On the microphone this week Paul, 10 years old, co-presents this episode and tells us how much he loves singing.
Angry Aborigines in Australia
To start, we take you to Australia, where representatives of the Aborigines are angry and want to make it heard, following a referendum concerning their rights. “But I didn’t know there were Aborigines who existed. Why are they angry?“, asks Paul, 10 years old, on the microphone of “Salut l’info!”. The show gives him answers in this episode.
Also in the news: a swimming pool in Halloween colors and a bear who is hungry as a wolf and breaks into a house in the United States.
Music, cinema, games… in this week’s feature, our journalist Agathe d’Astrapi gives cultural advice to children so as not to be bored on vacation. For example, she recommends the album “Ariol chante comme un Rossignol” by Emmanuel Guibert and Laurent Lamarca, with Jérémy Frérot, Joyce Jonathan and Ben Mazué (ed. Bayard and Sony music). Agathe loved the comic strip “Amber and the Island of Lost Creatures” by Jason Pamment (ed. Jungle). She also tells you about the animated film by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach “Linda wants chicken”, released in cinemas on October 18 and finally the Trio card game (by Kaya Miyano and Laura Michaud, ed. Cocktail games). After all these tips, before the music!

These friends we miss on vacation
It’s never a vacation for our emotions! In our “We tell each other everything” section, Loïse calls us for help because she misses her boyfriend Pilou during the holidays. With the help of a psychologist, “Hi news!” gives him advice on how to cope better with this situation.
Because Halloween is fast approaching, “Hey news!” opens your closet of scary jokes: we listen to three riddles left by the children on our answering machine at 01 47 79 40 00… Hilarious !
In our “Club Salut l’info!”, it’s Paul, 10 years old, the guest of the week, a big music fan who dreams of being a singer. He also lets us discover his favorite song.
Good listening !
