On April 15, 2019, a terrible fire struck Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The whole world had discovered, amazed, the gigantic flames which ravaged the cathedral. A film called “Our Lady burns”, which comes out to cinema Wednesday March 16, looks back on this drama.
She’s an 850-year-old lady who was thought to be invincible. But, on April 15, 2019, the unthinkable happened. A new film, which is released on Wednesday March 16, brings us back to the disaster of the fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Entitled “Notre-Dame is burning”, it is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
Firefighters called late, narrow corridors, lack of resources: the film meticulously retraces the disastrous sequence of events. Director John Jacques Annaud could not film inside the cathedral. The cathedrals of Amiens (Sum)Senses (Yonne) and Bourges (Expensive)known for their similarity to that of Paris, served as the setting for a few scenes. A preview was held in Bourges on the evening of Thursday March 10 and the spectators were won over.
