A struggling couple goes to an isolated chalet in winter to join Madame’s long-time friends and perhaps rekindle the flame. But the unexpected presence of an illustrious novelist, master of horror and strange beings will disrupt the stay of these captive city dwellers in a hostile forest and cause a massacre… or not. Slippery terrain, a parodic and absurd play by François Ruel-Côté, exploits the clichés of the horror thriller in an ingenious and frankly comic way, driven by its excellent cast and its terrific pace. At the Denise-Pelletier theater until February 3.
