Bad faith humor suits Laurent Paquin, who this week presented his fifth solo show, Distracted Crocodile, which deals with the eternal quest for happiness. How good it is to mock with a touch of cynicism the champions of voluntary simplicity, life coaches and all those who believe they have discovered the way to be happy. Great good for them, but this show proves to be a particularly effective outlet for all those who, like Laurent Paquin, do not find happiness easy. The comedian’s presence on stage also contributes to this success.
