Two Machine de cirque shows will be presented this fall in Quebec. From the end of September, The gallery will make stops in several cities (Joliette, Amos, Rouyn…) with his poetic characters. Otherwise, ghost-light arrives at Théâtre Desjardins (in LaSalle) and at Tohu in November. Here, a duo of artists perform around a Korean board modified to rotate 360 ​​degrees!

The Alfonse circus troupe offers a real party agricultural with Animal.

The Alfonse circus has not finished touring Quebec with the strange (and entertaining) menagerie of its show Animal. In October and November, Longueuil, L’Assomption, Sherbrooke and Shawinigan are notably on the tour itinerary of this party highly musical agricultural scene, where theatricality rubs shoulders with acrobatic prowess.

Flip Fabrique revisits gender stereotypes with his show Muse.

Gender stereotypes are at the heart of this show signed Flip Fabrique, where the cast will have to choose between two evils: wear a football uniform or a ballet costume… Acrobatics (on the ground and aerial), trampoline and Chinese pole are some of the -one of the disciplines of Musewhich will be touring Quebec this fall, just after a stint at the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

A duo of clowns are at the heart of the narrative of the New York show Airplay.

In December, La Tohu welcomes the New York company Acrobuffos for the Canadian premiere of its show Airplay. Here, the art of clowning is in the spotlight with a duo that handles comedy, sculpture, circus and theatre. corteo, from Cirque du Soleil, will return to the Bell Center in December.

Cirque du Soleil is bringing one of its most poetic shows back to life, but swapping the marquee for the arena once again (this was the case in 2017). Thus, the joyous procession of corteo, imagined in 2005 by Daniele Finzi Pasca, will unfold at the Bell Center for the Holidays. A show that looks like a carnival, where a clown tenderly evokes his own funeral.
