Quebec artists have barely left the festival season behind them and here they are, hitting the road again in Quebec venues. For many, it is in fact the continuation of their tour that began at the beginning of the year, and sometimes even longer! So this is the opportunity, if you haven’t already, to make an appointment with Marjo, Bleu Jeans Bleu, Guylaine Tanguay, Marie Denise Pelletier, Fredz – who will be making a detour via France first! –, Andréanne A. Malette, Elisapie, Philippe Brach, Alexandra Stréliski, Kain, Marie-Jo Thério, Les Sœurs Boulay, Souldia, comment debord or Alexandre Poulin, among others.
Other artists will be launching their tours in the fall to accompany the release of their new album, such as Marie-Pierre Arthur, Jordan Officer and Avec pas d’casque. As for the great Marie Carmen, after years of touring with her colleagues and friends Marie Denise Pelletier and Joe Bocan, she is making a big comeback on stage with Hidden pearlswhich will certainly delight its audience throughout the province.

Theatre plays will be touring Quebec this fall to reach a wider audience. This is particularly the case for I am writing to you in the middle of a beautiful stormwith Steve Gagnon as Camus and Anne Dorval as Maria Casarès, The father by Florian Zeller starring Marc Messier, the stage adaptation of the film Two golden women with Isabelle Brouillette and Sophie Desmarais, the timeless Brew (with the trio Martin Drainville, Benoit Brière and Luc Guérin), or even Great troubles call for great speeches, inspired by speeches that have marked history. Me and… the othera comedy inspired by the famous TV show of the same name, will also be on tour in the fall.

The comedy Lili St-Cyr is set in Montreal in the 1940s.
Several musicals are taking a break this fall and returning to the stage in January. However, this is not the case for Lilli St-Cyr and its (very) solid cast including Marie-Pier Labrecque, Kathleen Fortin and Roger La Rue. The comedy The Giantessinspired by the life of Rose Ouellette, will be in Brossard in October, while the musical comedy The Tomcat will be passing through Quebec after a detour via Montreal. Royal Pub, which revolves around the songs of Cowboys Fringants, will pass through Sherbrooke in October before returning to Place des Arts in Montreal in December.
