The four organizations that represent workers in childcare centers, namely the FSSS-CSN, the FIPEQ-CSQ, the SQEES-FTQ and the Métallos-FTQ all reached an agreement with Quebec, on Wednesday, one after the other. the other.
In a message to its members Thursday morning, the Federation of Health and Social Services (FSSS), affiliated with the Confederation of National Trade Unions (CSN), announces the return to work next Monday, even if its members have not yet signed up. pronounced on the agreement.
However, she said on Wednesday that the strike would continue, as long as the members did not speak out.
“As soon as the national results are known, we will announce the return to work for Monday, December 13,” he wrote in the message to members on Facebook.
Some members were also irritated by the fact that the CSN seemed to presume the result of the votes of its members. They made it known on the Facebook page.

The union members of the FSSS have been on strike since December 1.
FIPEQ, SQEES and Steelworkers
At the Federation of Early Childhood Workers (FIPEQ), affiliated with the Centrale des unions du Québec (CSQ), which is not on strike, the assemblies will begin on Saturday and will be held during the weekend.
The final result is expected to be announced early next week, it was reported on Thursday.
The FIPEQ was to call an indefinite strike Thursday morning, but it decided to postpone it when the agreement in principle was reached with Quebec.
At the Quebec Service Employees Union (SQEES), affiliated with the Quebec Federation of Workers (FTQ), the votes will take place CPE by CPE. They haven’t started yet.
The SQEES is not on strike either, since, like the FIPEQ, it has decided to postpone the indefinite strike it was to call Thursday morning, given the agreement in principle.
As for the Steelworkers Union, affiliated with the FTQ, its two striking CPE unions will speak out at meetings, Thursday, in one case, and “over the next few days” in the other.
