Crush and rage on the Croisette

Favorite: Guilty Pleasure

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Good ! It is not a dazzling Spielberg, but the last installment of the adventures of the adventurous archaeologist, directed by James Mangold, brings the famous saga to a wild close and in the most hectic action. Harrison Ford did not just set the Croisette ablaze while walking his red carpet. He is perfect in this production which rejuvenates him at the start of 30 years (long live the digital effects). The Nazis and hippies of the 1970s are at the station, in this journey in search of the secret of time between Tangier, New York and Syracuse, which keeps us in suspense without respite.

Rant: Alert! Take shelter!

A true classic at the Palais during the big Cannes meeting. A bomb scare, which was actually only caused by forgotten luggage on Friday, further delayed a session. Cannes is a fragile microcosm, with too many stars and journalists per square foot, thus tempting criminals of all stripes. The festival must remain in constant vigilance. And false alarms trigger devices that disrupt the mechanics of the entire system, just as much as real ones. Plus, it’s been raining heavily all day.
