[Critique] “Hello, Hi”, Ty Segall

It’s been barely a year since the release of the record. harmonizer, from very prolific Californian Ty Segall. If this last studio album was electrifying, the musician returns this time with Hello, Hi, a music straight from an enchanting universe inherited from the most trippy period of the Beatles. As proof, the first three titles, Good Morning,Cement and Overbut also Blue or Don’t Lie and Distraction. We also feel a more sincere and accomplished side in this opus, probably because it was entirely recorded by the artist, in his own studio, and because in a majority of his songs, Ty Segall focuses on melodies acoustics and abrupt texts without abandoning its identity and its eloquence of psychedelic rocker. True to himself, the singer is not content to offer a homogeneous album, since pieces like Hello, Hienjoyable and more rock, and saturday Pt 2almost pop, make it a remarkable protean ensemble.
