Clear, finally, is a particularly moving piece, overwhelming perhaps, and most certainly grandiose. The eloquence of the strings rubs shoulders with a complexity skilfully mastered by Louis-Étienne Santais, and makes us feel our hearts squeezed by something magnificent and dazzling.
