Critérium and UNCP Trophies in Bergerac

The Organizing Committee of the Tour de France en Bergeracois and the National Union of Professional Cyclists invite you, this Saturday, November 27, 2021, morning and afternoon, Place du Foiral for sporting events and in the evening, Salle Anatole France for a gala with the presentation of the UNCP and the Coupe de France Cycliste trophies.

Critérium de France, morning and afternoon

The Association of the Organizing Committee Tour de France en Bergeracois is once again organizing the biggest cycling event in the region this year: The Critérium de France UNCP on Saturday 27 November at Place du Foirail. Many young cyclists from all over the department will use the closed circuit installed on the Place du Foiral. They will be accompanied by renowned professional cyclists. The VIP race will take place in the afternoon, but it all starts in the morning around 9:30 am. The opportunity to take full eyes and be able to approach the virtuosos of the road and if we believe the organizers, there will be a lot of people this Saturday in Bergerac.

Gala evening with the UNCP trophies

To close this day, there will be the gala evening “UNCP and Coupe de France Trophy Presentation” Salle Anatole France in Bergerac from 7pm where stars, champions of yesterday and today, public figures, will be present to to reward the best French runners. You will see, for example, Bernard Thévenet and Bernard Hinault, two former winners of the Tour de France. But since the UNCP trophies reward the best French cyclists of the year. This will be an opportunity to approach the cyclists who made you dream on the roads of the Tour de France or during classic races or championships. You must, if you participate, come in evening dress. That evening the organizers will also hand out the trophies for the Coupe de France Cycliste.

Important information for the evening:

  • The doors of the Anatole France room open at 7:00 p.m.
  • Everyone must be home and installed before 8:10 pm because of direct TV on Noa France 3
  • Mandatory dress code for the gala evening: evening dress for the ladies and bow tie suit or tie for the gentlemen

  • 11:45 am: Cycling school protocol and medal ceremony with the presence of Miss Périgord, professional runners as well as local elected officials

  • 1:30 p.m .: Start of the race for children from 2 to 4 years old
  • 2:00 p.m .: Presentation of the runners
