Last January, Slimane became a dad for the first time. “I became the father of an incredible little girl, a little angel, who was born almost two months early and who has been in the hospital for a month. I have been worried about her for a month, ‘she has trouble breathing sometimes, she has trouble eating too. I’ve been praying every day for a month for her to get better and so that I can soon introduce her to all the people who see her. I already love, my family, my friends. Well, I’m a dad, I’m happy, she’s fine, she’s better”said the 32-year-old singer on Instagram.
Dad for six months now, Slimane recently revealed the name of his daughter. “I love you Esmeralda… I thought I knew everything about love… then you came,” he wrote on April 27, in the caption of a photo in which he kisses her tenderly.
Cristiano Ronaldo inspired by Slimane?
A few weeks ago, the famous Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo became a father for the fifth time. If he was expecting twins with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, the athlete sadly announced that their son died at birth but fortunately their daughter survived.
And against all odds, this little girl has almost inherited the same first name as Slimane’s daughter! This Saturday, May 7, 2022, Georgina Rodriguez indeed shared a photo of their daughter, with the caption: “Bella Esmeralda”. It is therefore necessary to believe that great minds meet!
