“Criminal action is needed when there is a transgression”, believes David Lisnard (LR)

Emmanuel Macron mentioned a “decivilization” while several facts of accidents or violence have taken place in recent days. “There is a feeling of incommunity […] which results in insecurity, incivility. That is to say, individuals who do not behave as managers of the public space, whether physical or virtual, but who behave as capricious consumers. This is what leads to violence, to tension”explains David Lisnard, LR mayor of Cannes and president of the Association of Mayors of France, guest of the “4 Truths” of France 2, Friday May 26.

What to do with this process? “It takes action, instruction, education, you have to find principles, a disciple too, and obviously you need criminal action when there is a transgression”specifies the mayor LR of Cannes.

Can we classify everything in this phenomenon of decivilization, like the road accident in Villeneuve-d’Ascq (Nord) Or three policemen lost their lives or the death of a nurse in Reims (Marne), killed with knives? “Not everything is decivilization, there are miscellaneous facts, the unfortunate chance of life.
