L214 files a complaint for abuse and cruelty against the municipal slaughterhouse of Craon (L214)

L214 posts new videos. On images of the municipal slaughterhouse of Craon in Mayenne, the association ensures that we see “cows [qui] begin to be cut up while they are still alive, they react to the blows of knives and guillotine pliers when their legs, their horns or their heads are cut off.. L214 points “the absence of intervention by veterinary services”which, according to the animal rights association, “partly explain this appalling situation”.

France Bleu Mayenne was able to watch these videos transmitted to the press and described “a cow whose horn gets stuck in a rack”. At that moment, continues France Bleu Mayenne, “the operators intervene and end up slitting the throat of the still living beast”. L214 also files a complaint for offenses committed by the employer against its employees, to the extent that, according to the association, they would put themselves in danger.at the time of stunning calves, hanging cattle, and bleeding animals.”

France Bleu Mayenne informs that the Craon town hall will communicate on Thursday January 18 via a press release. A delegation from L214 will go the same day at 10 a.m. to the municipal slaughterhouse in the hope of meeting management. The Mayenne prefecture indicates that the services of the Ministry of Agriculture are analyzing the videos broadcast by L214.
