Indicators show an improvement in the COVID-19 situation in Quebec, according to the national director of public health, Dr. Luc Boileau, Thursday afternoon.

The director of public health of Quebec, Luc Boileau, invited the populations most at risk to get a new dose of vaccine against COVID-19.
He indicated, during a press briefing, that Quebec was going to follow the Committee on Immunization, which advocated a new vaccination campaign according to priority groups.
According to the latest report, Quebec has recorded 18 new deaths due to the virus. 2,136 people were also hospitalized, including 67 in intensive care.

Dr. Boileau has also invited “all men” who plan to have sex with other men to get a dose of vaccine.
Vaccination against monkeypox will be offered throughout Quebec.
