Lindgren is currently enjoying the best season of his professional career with the Springfield Thuinderbirds. He’s 2.16 goals against average, .925 save and 8-1-1 record.

After spending the vast majority of the last campaign with the Habs reserve squad, the 27-year-old agreed to a two-part, one-season pact with the Missouri team last July. Unable to earn his place in the roster after training camp, he was placed on waivers before being sold to the Thunderbirds.

Binnington, meanwhile, is 8-5-3, 2.80 GAA and .912 rating in 16 starts this season. Ville Husso is the other goalkeeper of the formation.
