The three new deaths bring the daily average calculated over seven days to 21. The trend is down 32% over one week.

On Monday, there were 101 new hospital admissions and 83 discharges. Across Quebec, 1,776 patients are hospitalized in connection with the virus, a 15% drop from last week. Of these, 119 are in intensive care, an increase of five from the previous day. The trend remains down 13% over one week.

The province has recorded 1,064 new cases of COVID-19, a daily average of 1,741, down 29% from one week. As PCR tests are not available for the entire population, the number of daily infections is less representative of the evolution of the pandemic.

A total of 474 rapid tests, including 363 positive, were self-declared on Sunday on the platform put online by the government, or 90,149 self-declared rapid tests so far.

In the past 24 hours, 11,393 doses of vaccine have been administered. So far, 86.5% of Quebecers have received at least one dose, 82.1% have received at least two and 47.7% have received their third.
