COVID-19 report in Quebec June 20, 2022

Quebec reports Monday two new deaths attributed to COVID-19, for a balance sheet of 15,538 since the start of the pandemic.

The Ministry of Health also reported 532 new cases, for a total of 1,079,184. The number of cases listed is not representative of the situation, however, since access to screening centers is restricted to priority clienteles.

In all, 223,409 rapid tests have been self-reported so far on the government platform, including 183,813 positive. For the day on Sunday, 356 tests were declared, including 314 positive.

Remember that data related to hospitalizations and intensive care are no longer counted on weekends.

The Ministry of Health indicates that 6,929 analyzes were carried out on Sunday and that the positivity rate is 9.8%.

Regarding vaccination, 1890 doses have been administered in the last 24 hours in Quebec.

Among those aged 5 and over, 91% received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 55% received a third dose and 15% obtained a fourth dose. Among those aged 60 and over, 44% went for a fourth dose.
