COVID-19 | Raptors add three players to Protocols

The Toronto Raptors added three players in NBA COVID-19 protocols on Saturday, bringing the total to 10.

The Raptors have placed the names of Khem Birch, Justin Champagnie and Isaac Bonga in the league’s health and safety protocols.

Seven Toronto players were already on his list, including OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes, Gary Trent Jr., Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa.

David Johnson is meanwhile sidelined with a calf injury.

The 11 players will not be available for the Raptors in Sunday’s duel against the Cleveland Cavaliers (19-13).

The Raptors (14-15) signed G-League players Juwan Morgan, DJ Wilson and Tremont Waters to a 10-day contract on Thursday, thanks to an exemption provided by the NBA in times of COVID-19.
